Mr. Murray also has an appointment at the Mater Misercordiae Hospital as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon.  At this clinic he sees new adult referrals as well as children that have transitioned from the National Paediatric Craniofacial Centre at The Children’s University Hospital, Temple Street.  All types of adult craniofacial disorders are seen at this clinic which is held once a month including ongoing management of acquired and congenital craniofacial deformities as well as developmental skeletal disorders including jaw surgery.  Mr. Murray performs approximately 40 complex skeletal procedures including double jaw surgery, Le Fort III distraction and patient specific implants for patients with these complex skeletal deformities.

Upon reaching the age of 16 arrangements are made by Noelle O’Mahony, Craniofacial Clinical Services Co-ordinator for a seamless transition to the adult services at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital.  This includes the transfer of all relevant medical records and X-rays through department secretaries.  Patients who have transitioned to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, Craniofacial Service can make contact by phone or email to Mr. Murray’s Secretary, at the Mater  Hospital (8032394)
